Musician Costa Titch is having a stellar 2023 so far, celebrating the success of his hit “Big Flexa.”
The indie artist has forged his own path since the start of his career, using the power of social media to build a strong following who understand and love his sound, which blends hip-hop with some Amapiano beats.
Earlier this year, he received a major co-signing from Senegalese-American musician Akon, who praised him and predicted he would be a “game changer”.
Akon’s co-signature isn’t just praising him in the video. He also joined the South African artist and was a surprise guest at Titch’s performance at the Cotton Festival.
He later announced that he had signed a global deal with Akon’s label, Konvict Kulture, to collaborate on a remix of “Big Flexa,” whose visuals have already racked up over a million views on YouTube.
After winning the Soundcity Audience Choice Award, the rapper is enjoying some quality time after signing a collaboration deal with international superstar Akon. The rapper had a memorable moment at Cotton Fest when he brought Akon on stage as a surprise guest of the night.
The pair recorded a song together in Big Flexa Remix, and fans will be excited for more music from the duo. Costa Titch is currently mourning South African hip-hop icon AKA who was brutally murdered in Durban on Friday night. On Instagram, the Areyeng singer expressed his sadness that he still feels that Supa Mega is no more. “Still feels unreal… love you forever bro!” Costatic wrote.
