Netflix Confirms Sex Education Season 4 Is Coming, But When?

Sex education season four was officially confirmed just weeks after season three landed on Netflix and received rave reviews. Here’s all we know.

The fourth installment of the popular comedy-drama was officially confirmed on September 25, 2021 by Netflix on Twitter. it comes after Sex education season three landed on the streaming site on September 17 – and was undoubtedly devoured by fans in one sitting.

The new principal has certainly shaken things up as she sets out to restore her old high school to its old glory, which has not been well received by fans or students of Moordale. But as the series progressed, viewers learned that there was a reason she was so nervous, and her past isn’t as crisp as it claims. Season four would likely delve deeper into Hope Haddon’s backstory.

We’re sure to see more storylines unfold with new characters in season four, as well as a new load of antics from Otis (Asa Butterfield) and Maeve’s (Emma Mackey) sex therapy business.

The season three finale left plenty of cliffhangers, including the bombshell that Moordale High is going to put on sale. So, is there a lot of room for season four – maybe even season five? (one can only hope).

When is Season 4 of Sex Education coming out?

It’s too early to say when Sex education season four will be released. Our assumptions would be late 2022 / early 2023.
